disc lock Q

Hey guys what's up?

I've a ninja 250r 2012, recently I bought a Xena disc lock (xzz6l) 6mm pin.
I've tried to put it on the disc but the holes are just too small.

I was looking all over, how big is the disc holes in ninja 250 2012?
if anybody can recommend me on a disc lock for my ninja it would be great I can't really find it online. if it has alarm on it even better.

thanks

2 problems with a disc lock.

If that is your only protection, it can VERY EASILY be stolen regardless.
If you forget it's on and take off, you'll need some new brake parts and repairs.

Sensitive 2-way alarm, heavy duty chain, and a garage are your best friends.

When i park it over- night i put a chain and a cover.
The disc lock & alarm seems to be goos solution for quick parking during the day.
Still locking for a good disc lock that fits.
Thanks for that though

How deep is the jaw of the disc lock?
Will it reach to the inside of the disc?

I like this version of a disc lock. The front wheel will not move when locked which will help prevent the disc/caliper damage if you forget to take it off. Also it stays mounted to the caliper so you do not have to carry it around. If they unbolt it from the caliper it stays locked to the disc. It is a little pricey but looks like a good product. Nothing will stop them from taking it but you can make it difficult and slow them down.

The lock part does not stay in the mount while you are riding.

Right, but that big bracket does. I wouldn't want anything mounted to my caliper while I'm riding

I keep several models in stock, but frankly yours probably will work.
If you can, swing by with the lock and the bike and I can look at it for you.
