Its also up to the guy being passed to be polite, ease off and allow the faster rider pass safely.. some of (I'll say it this way so no one gets hurt) "us" dont like being passed and try to hold back other riders either with slower bikes or not a consistant line to pass with enough distance. Creating an unsafe situation for the other rider and ourselves.

I think the other thread is mis-read by those bashing it, and further proof that sometimes, some people will never get what you are trying to say, no matter how simple the topic appears to be.

The experienced crowd, regardless of where they ride, are looked up to by the younger/newer riders. They want to be like them. Will do a lot to gain acceptance (human behavior). It would be nice to see these fast riders to help guide bring up the new riders, and steer them out of danger they may not even be aware of.

Like they pointed out, no one will ever care that you shaved off 4 seconds off your lap time at a track day, or that you could make it through some hick road in under 10 minutes. No one will care, but the consequences of your actions may affect those who just happen to be there. Why not give a little and help us all live a little.

No one really cares who won anyway. If they did then the winners wouldn't be PAYING for their rides in the pro ranks they'd be getting PAID to race.

Great post, The track is great to gain experience in a fast mode and to learn how to control your bike at high speed, learn how effective the brakes in a modern sportbike are, now you always have the risk of being taken out by someone thinking it's a race ,someone riding BORC style without the experience or the level....or being taken out by someone in the pitlane who forgot where the brakes are Sorry Umayre but i had to add this one too.
