Leather jacket slightly large
im having problems finding a jacket that fits me right, my alpinestar leather is a large, fits my torso almost perfect.
its my biceps and forearm areas that seem overly big. anything smaller leaves my sleeves too short. i almost feel a little funny wearing it so I wear my other mesh jacket instead. am I over thinking this or do others have this issue. being tall and skinny doesn't help. |

Some manufacturers offer "tall" sizing options. If you don't take Trish up on her offer, you could also look for European fit gear vs. American fit. European fit tends to be directed at leaner riders.

I do believe Teknic is European fit, as is FirstGear. I'm 6'0" and 190. I have a FirstGear XLT that fits very well, but it was on clearance and I believe it was mis-sized. Revzilla.com does a good job reviewing gear and telling you if it's European or American fit.

Seriously, how do people even find these old threads?
It makes sense if it's like a mechanical issue or something that can still be relevant, but this was just a random thread. ![]() |
