Knee Guards With Slider Pucks? Or Just Get Pants/full suit?
Do they make knee/shin guards that have puck sliders? or should I just go up to riding pants / full leathers? I've looked around, but only seem to be able to find just knee / shin protection, nothing with slider attachments
Would prefer to have knee / shin guards that have sliders, rather than making the leap to full powerranger status any input would be appreciated |

Most knee guards are worn under your jeans/pants.
I'm not aware of any that have sliders built in. |

I was thinking of something that strapped over your pants with a puck slider...honestly surprised there's nothing like that...

I picked up a pair of under the pants knee shin guards Saturday from m.u. for some added insurance in case my knee rolls out. $25 is alot more affordable than $500. If you do find some with pucks though Lmk. Those wouldn't be bad to wear on the street.

Are you dragging that much knee on the streets that you need pucks?

Not trying to start a soap box comment like Im sure are to come but I can see that there is not something like that because the normal street rider is not dragging a knee on the ground like many people do on the track. You are a small market.

close enough to touching my knee that I would rather have something there than not...hard to go deep to find out exactly how close I'm getting to touching while only having denim between the pavement and my knees

Anything strapped on outside would just move as soon as it touched down.
Hate to say, but odds are you are nowhere near as close to "draggin' knee" as you think you are.... have someone follow close behind with a camera and it will be eye opening. At least with something under your jeans, if you do happen to touch down, it will just tear your pants and not your knee caps. |
