Exclamation careful on new University in Sugar Land

MH,

Yes, it is new and it connects First Colony to Hwy six east, etc. But, be very careful: lots of construction trucks are entering and leaving and a residue of mud and crud is on many intersections and corners. On top, it abruptly goes from two lanes to one in the heavy house construction area: please be aware and careful. Telfair also has brick road surface intersections: slick when wet but add the mud: like grease.

Its going to be a great weekend for rides!

MH,

I road this stretch last evening. Second warning: construction trucks have paved much of the road with mud up to a half-inch deep. I had to work to find a reasonable track, and the Pirelli Sport Demons struggled with traction. Careful!

It is a fun ride and makes getting to/from home and Hwy 6 a lot easier and more interesting. The mud sucks though. Saw some deer also on the side of this road as it is near the Brazos River and woods.
