1 Dunlop Q4 set available now!

I just received the first set of Dunlop Q4 tires. 200/55-17 rear Q4 is $219, a front 120/70-17 Dunlop Q4 is $129. I have the other rear sizes on order but have not received them yet. $20 per wheel to mount and balance ON the bike or only $10 each OFF the bike. Only 1 set of Q4's available, let me know if you want them. Call before you haul to make sure they are still here. 936-756-9711, please ask for Bill. Thanks. I will say this, the new Q4 sure looks aggressive!

They look absolutely bad like a real DOT race tire. Pretty much a slick with very few grooves at all. The raised lettering on the edges of the tire looks kind of cool too! Dunlop is promoting the new Q4 as a "Track Day" tire claiming much better performance than the Q3+ which is still their best street tire. The new Q4 does not replace the Q3+ but is offered as an even more aggressive super sport tire for the street or track day.

I'll stick with the q3+. I ride street more than anything. I love the q3+, would like something similar with more life

No problem. The Q3+ is a better street tire, they are less expensive, last longer, and have a $75 rebate for the rest of this month. The Q4 is worth trying for a track day then finish the set off on the streets.

Hope they perform as well as I think they are going to. They sure look aggressive. Please let me know how you like them vs. the Pirelli Super Corsa. The Dunlop has the most current tire technology, the same as they use to make the slick race tires and should be bad as a track day tire. I got an update on the release date on the remainder of the rear tire sizes and will be the end of this month before they are released. Keep in mind, the 200/55-17 rear tire can be used on any wheel that is a minimum of 6.00 inches wide which is on pretty much all of the recent liter bikes.

BryanE, some feedback after you try them out would be great. I'm curious how they stack up against a true DOT race tire. Please let me know. Have fun! The only size I can get right now is the 200/55-17 rear. Were you able to get a smaller size rear tire?

Just got back from Cresson, 1.7m. Best time of 1.27 for the day on a fresh set of Q4's. Did a 1.26 on Supercorsa SP's a few weeks ago, but I wouldn't say one is better than the other. At least, I couldn't tell too much of a difference at the pace I was running. Will say that it looks like I'll get more mileage out of the Q4's compared to the SP's. Was a stinking hot day today, and looks like they could go another 2-3 rounds at the rate they wore down today.

Comparable performance but with greater tire life is a definite plus! I'm curious as to what others will have to say as well. Thanks for the info. I do have several sets of the Dunlop Q4 in stock again but still only in the 200/55-17 rear tire size. Still waiting on the rest of the rear sizes, hopefully by the end of the month was the latest update I received. Have a great weekend.

Nice. I guess our distributor is slacking on the other sizes. Hope they work well for you. Are you going to use them with or without tire warmers?
