Cegusman told me about about a year ago. It's for dirt bikes but it would probably work for a street bike. I don't like putting stuff on painted surfaces though. I was amazed at how clean it got the bike with no elbow grease. A light hand wash after that and it looks new.

Maybe like a 3. I take care of all the maintenance but keeping it clean? Too much work.

between a 6 and 8, There's usually some bugs I'll take a quick spray and wipe off, I don't really do a full wash down of my bike unless it gets super dirty from riding in the rain or bug attack.

Used to be but no more. I keep my bike at a steady #2. Best part is, bike looks so bad, I can leave the key in it and no one will steal it.

My problem is that I've always resented pretentious people, trends, materialism and popularity. I rode a Katana -- total underdog bike -- and loved it. All I could afford was the super-cheap wipe-off wax from Wal-Mart, and kept that bike at an 11 on the 1-10 cleanliness scale. Like, took off the fairings and washed them on the inside, before polishing the bolts on the the turn signals -- at least once a week, or every 300 miles, or any light rain.

Wrecked it and used the insurance $ to get what I could afford which was an old R6. Got plenty of compliments on that one (they're popular), never got real attached, and went down to using a garden hose every couple of weeks but only detailed it when changing the oil.
