Advice to ride leaders and event planners(friendly version)

Make your title brief and to the point.

Make that title consistent and stick to it. (No matter what)

Stop writing a freaking paragraph. People have short attention span and they don't want to read.

Plan out your ride/event and don't deviate from it. No matter who tries to tell you how to do it.

Be on time (I sometimes failed at that)

Invite new blood and cater to them. The veterans and "badasses" here don't care and they will only come out to check it out, be dicks, or try to show off. They don't matter(kinda).

Do it on Sunday mornings. If you can't, then pick a day and so that.

There are some other things but I kinda got tires just writing this and so now I'm going to fun.com to meditate.

P.s. aside from Monday night minis all the other events look so lame...

Who goes to torchy's???

What new rider is saying does make sense...

Put together a regularly scheduled ride.

And...

Create the event in a consistent way so people can always find it.

If people know there is always a ride amthat starts at Buckees @362 and 290 every saturday morning with KSU at 9:00 am, they can plan for it.

This is basically the same thing we are all doing with the NW monday night meet and the monthly central meet.

Oh.. And it doesn't hurt to have a big posting presence, troll a bit, and start threads like these lol

I would have more links but for some reason, some threads of my meets have the first post completely erased...

And they erased some beautiful trolling that went on in HonersDaddy crash thread... That was beautiful :kekegay:

Cuz it wasn't even like he was trying to be mean, just honest about the question.

Then Came the "it's the lighting and angle" response...

Followed by my photoshopped post...And the rest was pure magic!

All those posts are gone. So sad.

One thing that really tires on the site is people seem to add non-sensical comments and ramblings to threads. Old rule was stay on or near topic, or don't comment. Over the years we have had tons of post wholes who added little or no content to threads.
And there you got me to add more drivel

Newrider... not sure if the threads still exist in the Meet section but there used to be a few good ones on "how to" group rides

So long and thanks for all the fish.

Imagine having a motorcycle forum that has motorcycle riders and motorcycle topics without the endless attacks and trolling.

Sounds good, doesn't it.

They're still there. There was the Senator method thread, few ones I did...

This new school is weird and I'm still trying to feel them out.
