Traffic Lawyer in the Manvel or Pearland area?

About a week ago, I received a ticket on 288 for going 85 in I think a 60mph zone. It was after 518 but I believe before Hwy 6. I was pulled over by a state trooper... friendly guy too but was still issued a citation. Does anyone know a traffic lawyer in this area that is decent? I dont think any of the Houston lawyers such as Sprecher or Sullo and Sullo go out this far. Any help is appreciated guys and gals.

I would just do deferred. I got a ticket for going 25 over and just did that and got the ticket dismissed. It was cheaper than hiring a lawyer. The cops are always waiting in between 518 and 6. I drive that stretch of road everyday and they either are waiting or have someone pulled over already.

Sweet... i've gotten deferred a couple times throughout my time of driving but in Fort Bend County. Never in Harris. I will ask for this option on my court date. I wondering if I can ask for this in advance to avoid going to court.

You might be cutting it close. Not sure what Pearland considers the cut off for defensive driving/deferred, but 25mph+ alot of places usually don't allow it.

Im with Ryan onthis one. Most places 25 mph and over you cannot take DD/ or deferrred. might be wrong but give it a shot

That's what I was thinking hence the reason for a lawyer. i looked up lawyers in that area and didn't see any "traffic" lawyers.

Pretty positive he won't go that far out of Houston.

I got deferred for doing 75 in a 50 earlier this year.. it might be possible? They wouldnt allow DD but they did allow deferred.
