Had to be drunk, I hear about these all the time and I can never imagine going the wrong way onto a freeway. Like, how do you not notice all the signs are facing away from you or see headlights coming at you.

No sympathy for the rider. Sucks the car passengers had to be involved.

You have no sympathy for the rider because you assume he was drunk or because he made a mistake by getting on the freeway the wrong way?

Or just why no sympathy?

RIP Rider

How do you "make a mistake?" you would have had to make a left hand turn, everything would be facing the wrong way, the solid white line would now be on the left and the yellow on the right. Then when you actually get on the highway car will be facing you with their headlights.

Those "WRONG WAY" and "DO NOT ENTER" signs are such a bother.

Yeah. You are probably right. That must be why another motorist did the same exact thing less than an hour later.

All those darn signs. Waste of $

I mean, it could have been a mistake on both their parts, but it seems like the same thing would be happening on a regular basis if it was just a lack of signage or whatever. I'm not familiar with that entrance ramp so I don't know if it's confusing or not.

People don't read signs in Houston like "left lane ends."

Reflectors are red when you go the wrong way.

That dude was drunk as and got arrested. Cops had the freeway blocked and shut down, he drove around them with his lights off. Two parked units that he drove by instantly got on his and lit him up.
