3 Sisters Ride / ROT Rally Austin TX June 8-11

Riding the sisters Friday June 9
Arriving in Medina about 930 am and taking off at 10 am.

Old Timer

Inviting anyone out that weekend to the area. We can meet up in New Braunfels at 8am at Buc-ee's corner of 306 and 35 and head to Medina.

Saturday the 10th I'll be at the Rally all day riding from New Braunfels to the Expo Center. We can meet up at the Bucee's as well before heading out

im in, I live in SA. always up to ride the sisters. fm337 is screwed up from the "repave" job they did last year, but I haven't been since november so maybe it got cleaned up since then

its pretty much crushed up rocks smooshed halfway into a thin layer of tar, definitely worse than it was before. there were rocks laying all over the road from being unlodged from the thin asphalt. I hope 16 and 336 aren't like that too, its been a while since I've been out there. nowadays I do most of my riding near town, theres some very nice roads a lot closer to SA than the sisters are

I was out there a few months ago 337 from Leakey to vanderpool is jacked up. 335 gets better every time I go. Still don't like the repave job they did a few years back. Where are you located I recently moved. I live near sa in la vernia and would love to find some good roads local.

Have u guys been during the ROT rally before? Or any bike rally in that area? The sisters are so backed up with slow cruisers its pointless....at least in my opnion. Watch for drunk motorcyclists too

Meh. Rot isn't the same anymore. went last year for the first time in 8 years. About half the people as before and atmosphere was not the same.

Odds are, the sisters will be fine that weekend. Rot peeps don't go out that far. Too many bars to hit to make it in one day.
