Johnny Manziel

Crazy...I'm wondering what he'll look like against these higher quality SEC teams.

I think had A&M played their first game against LA Tech, they would have beaten Florida.

I honestly didn't have much hope for my Aggies in the SEC the first few years, but they're looking pretty good. Especially if Manziel can stay healthy till he's a senior. Good recruiting class they got this season.

It's like watching MotoGP if you're a Lorenzo/Pedrosa fan. I prefer watching closer matched games.

Ha! True. But it's kinda nice to sit back and not be freaking out about them possibly losing. I like sometimes just watching a good stomping,

during yesterdays game johnny football looked like a mere mortal in the 3rd quarter... but was walking on water again the last few minutes of the 4th

and the aggie defense needed to be reminded that they have two arms and those arms should wrap around the guy you are trying to tackle... i do not know how many times that all they did was run into an ole miss runner and the runner just keep on going...wrap up!!! they near blew it...

They've done that for years...drives my mom nuts. You can hear her screaming at them from across the house "wrap up!!"

re: wrapping up a runner;
Meh, they are just getting ready for their NFL careers. Big hits make ESPN highlight reels, if you can make the tackle that's nice too.
Fundamentals, who needs 'em?

How about that game Sunday morning? lol

Any chance the game set the longest record for a college game? SOB started at 8 pm and went until 1 am? Tough to watch a game that has more time spent reviewing plays and disecting penalties. I went to bed. Father in law said they almost blew it to La Tech. Can't wait to see the LSU game. lol

Tell me about it. We went and tailgated starting at 1PM so we were pretty lit. La Tech fans are some serious shlt talkers considering their team was ranked for the first time since Clinton was in office.

And even then they're 23...and have played nobody. For what it's worth they played a good game...gave us a lot more trouble than I figured they would.

that was killing me. My wife and I had planned to watch it at a sports bar but we got busy and ended up watching the 1st half at home. At halftime I suggesting heading up to the bar to finish it, and she asked me, with the lead we had, was it even going to be worth watching anymore. Oh how little she knows about Aggie football. I was nail-biting all the way through the fourth quarter.
