I'm taking anyone's side. When I'm in my cage, all cagers are my brothers. When I ride, every rider is my brother.

You've still not answered my question on the legality of damaging property if someone comes into your lane without contact. Do you think it's legal, or not?

Chris I love ya to death man but you are wrong wrong wrong on this thought. Motorcycles should never be compared and treated like cars. We are on two wheels, totally exposed, no cage around us, no air bags, no seat belt just us the bike and the ground.

If you pit a car in a chase it just spins around and around and stops usually driver not even hurt. You pit or ram a bike you are going to hurt them badly or even kill them. I mean as bikers we use less gas, we do WAY less road damage and we hurt the enviroment less and take up less room on the road. We are also killed and hurt more than cagers because we are on a bike with no cage. We should always be given the benefit of the doubt. Pitting or ramming a bike should be considered attempted murder even by the police.
(unless he/she is running for bike robbery or murder or something. But pitting a bike for triple digits, wheelies, or running is attempted murder and the cop should go to jail.

i just don't understand your view towards bikes when you ride one..fast and I am sure you have off some cagers by passing or riding aggressively.
I mean where did you get this attitude from I am confused it's jsut like you.

Oh and I never consider other cagers my brothers car or not ..they are usually just another jerk that me off the way they drive.

I think it's fine to shoot a mother in the face for cutting me off, but that's not what I've asked you. IS IT LEGAL TO DAMAGE PROPERTY?

It's against HPD policy to PIT anyone at 70mph. It has to be done at lower speeds. I don't want a cop to shoot me, so I guess we should go all Great Britain and not allow patrol officers to carry guns.

Depends what the crime is. If it's a wheelie I shouldn't get pitted. If I just murdered 10 people then I deserve to get shot. Why are you so hard headed. Wife not keeping you happy? Try buying her some flowers or something you need to get laid and off my back.

Again, that's not what I asked.

If they come into your lane without making contact, is it LEGAL (not fine, not okay, not yeah for me!) to damage someone's property?

I don't care if some politicians in washington made it legal or not. If they try to come into my lane and respond to my horn (or yelling in my helmet) I am kicking their car. Period. Physical harm takes precedent over a freak't bent car door of a moron cager.

You can admit that you don't know. Almost every thread you start is in the form of a question anyway.

Can you remove yourself from the equation for once? Is it legal for a rider (not Bill) to damage property in response to a driver coming into their lane if they make no contact?

Who cares?

Are you looking for permission to kick a car coming into your lane... Granted!

Is it legal? Your choices. "Yes" or "No". Remember, Jesus is watching.

Jesus said it's fine to protect yourself from harm. That is all kicking a car is to let the person in cage know that they are fixing to kill you with their crappy unattentive driving.

Ok, Bill.

If you are in your car, and a car comes into your lane.....do you honk and shoot the finger? Or do you ram them?

OR...... do you roll down your window and punch their mirror?

i would trying honking first. then the finger and then roll down the window and punch the mirror (but that only works on the left of the car). On bikes I can kick both ways. .

of course i would swerve first too. But what if you were riding with your daughter on the back next to a concrete barrier in the left lane. And some lady on her phone starts to get over in your lane squeezing you into the barrier. You honked she still coming do you just let her smash you and your daughter or does your bad fatherly instinct take over and you kick the out of that dumb lady's door panel. Well?
