When you state oil & gas, also state what it is you do or job title in that field. Just trying to "get the big picture" of the different ends its effecting and how much.

We had 96 people working in our crew in September...............we now have 36, after 2 different rounds of layoff's prior to the holidays.

10 people is right around 8% of our Houston Branch

I was with Foster Wheeler USA. They mainly do on shore refinery design. Mostly Cokers.

I was a Pressure Vessel Designer for them. I survived the first round of layoffs but not the second. Boss was very happy with me, they just have no work.

I know the feeling. I am getting my masters in Geology and trying to find work in the field be it exploration discovery or even Fracks is almost imposable right now.

Hope everything works out for ya mate. I would say try some of the larger companies (I know it sucks to work for them) but i know a few might be looking at some experienced players.
