i ride everyday.
got caught in the evening yesterday on my way back from national guard drill, my uniform got soaked which sucked considering how heavy it already was dry.

got caught again today on my way back from pearland city hall. not too bad. i was not soaked.

and i'll be riding every other day this week

Well I made it home as well but it was dry once I got home. But on the 45 and beltway it was just wet roads that were trying to dry. I think I would take the truck tomorrow only because I don't wanna have that happen again. Now for all those who rife everyday... good luck to you all riders that ride everyday. Because this year is nothing but the rain. Man! if summers were different to let everyday be a nice not ot hot nor not to cold nor that much windy but just right I would be riding more. Ah who am I kidding like that will ever happen....lol

Man I have learned, anything less than 40% comes up with nothing about 90% of the time. I quit leaving the bike at home any less than 40% and even then, sometimes I roll the dice. But I work on the N side and live on the NE side so its a little safer than the SE people.

I don't temp to ride when it's any % of rain now since I've heard alot of riders that have been riding in this weather and some how end up laying there bike down cause of water skids. Plus last night I put a cover over my bike for the rain and this morning I found it missing. I was like then wind took it off but normally I find it on the floor but this time I saw it nowhere. So I have a feeling someone took it and so I move the bike inside and lock the door. That way if they come back they will see that the bike is gone.

As for the people going down in wet weather, it is all in how you ride. Slow down try to keep the bike more upright than normal.

Anyone look at the storm passing through Wharton right now? Looks like it will be just in time for lunch.

+1 on the riding everyday. weather.com shows 85% chance of thunderstorms up here (college station) till tonight, then 40% tomorrow, 60% next day, etc... should be fun...

Yeah like right now it's going to poor down cause it's like night time over here. just need to hear the thunder and see some lighting to know that it will drop. Plus I don't know who took the cover to my bike last night but it was there to protect it from the rain and since it was missing I'm very disappointed in people who take sh@t without asking..... I mean it was there and this morning it was gone so I'm like out of luck for that but lucky that it wasn't the bike instead.
