would this creep you out.

This is my neighbors back yard. I cant tell if it looks into our window/ back yard.

Now the back story. He and I dont like one another AT ALL. We have had a bunch of fights over the fence. Well mostly me yelling at him.
Dude has a pool pump that sounds like a Rocket ship taking off. Plays corn hole all day and night so that sounds like construction going on non stop.
He is kind of a sis of a guy. He has been reporting me to the HOA for everything... I.E. recently, I have a tool shed on the side yard. You cant see it from the street but we cant have one so it is what it is.
So now that he put up all of these cameras, I don't know if its because he knows I may jump over the fence and kick his or what.
Either way having 3 cameras maybe more looking over the back yard seems weird.
Thoughts.

what is corn hole? I thought that was a term for . It's music now to?

If i was you I would put up the tallest fence you could to block his view into your yard.

I can't believe you can't have a tool shed that you can't see from the street.

Put up some signs on top of the fence that he can read. Be creative. This is your time to shine for creativity. We could have a MH meet and greet in your backyard following who has the loudest exhaust on the board...

Have you considered maybe putting something really offensive like a sign or a pic of blue waffles in view of the cameras? Big sigh that says your wife told me to tell you hi. Change em out every month. Make a game of it. :Keke:

Tall fence would not pass restrictions. Ideas of him off are awesome. I rode the grom around the back yard awhile back. That was great.
A meet up and pool party over here is a awesome idea this summer.

My neighbor tried doing this to me. The HOA has restrictions that these had to be approved via the HOA. When they came over to inspect they agreed with me. Two days later he adjusted them away from my house.

Good luck.

Yeah, my back yard cams are strategically placed, it’s possible the installer went for a more “total coverage” rather that the homeowner spying on you. Those are wide angle anyway, good luck getting any of your property out of view.

This is a really good idea. But... use a laser instead to destroy the ccd chip.

If he has video of someone setting up a laser to destroy his property he might take that someone to small claims court to recover his damages

Actually from a photo no way to know how the cameras are positioned inside their housings. Very possible and likely the field of vision is contained to his backyard only. Maybe he's worried you'll steal his cornhole bags.

And backyard cameras are smart, not weird. If you set up a security system you want ingress and egress to all windows and doors captured.

Smile deescalate

go to his house and offer to buy him a new & quiet pool pump ... if he refuses send him a nice letter again offering to buy the pump ... no matter what happens next you won't be to blame because most people will think you are the reasonable one ... if he takes you up on the pump it's a small price to pay for peace and quiet ... if you go tactical be prepared for legal fees and endless problems at YOUR house over the discord with the "neighbor" ... BTW swatting is not a viable option

Or maybe a quiet cover? Something like this:
https://noisypool.com/

As for cameras/legal fees, I agree with the 3 posts above.

Maybe shout less and listen more? Your neighbor, from his perspective, has you as a neighbor, who by your own admission is usually the one yelling. I'm not judging since I don't know anything except what you have mentioned. But having a face to face calm conversation even when you are livid might go a long way to a compromise. Maybe he will go half and half on a pump cover/quiet pump. Have you asked and not just yelled?
