What's the oldest GoPro that you own?

So, I'm about to trade in my oldest GoPro on a new 7.

It's a YHDC5170 (Original HD Hero)

I want to say I had the one before it as well as an HD Hero 2.

I also have a Hero 3+ BLACK, Hero 5 Session, Hero 6 Black, and 2-Samsung Gear 360 Cameras.

I kinda feel bad for getting rid of the original Hero, but GoPro is giving me $100 credit for it.

I saw on their site today that they're giving 100 off if you trade it in for a Fusion. I also recall it for the 7 as well but can't find it anymore. Is the promotion still happening?

That promotion ended the other day. I got in on it.

Pretty sure it aint even that high. Its the non HD, so I think its like 360 or 420P....its garbage compared to the original HD version.

I tried that too at MSR. It didn't work, the vibration made the video full of static and I was afraid it would damage the camera since they weren't built for all that.

I have an original Go-Pro. Don't know the model number but it's the small lens, I think it uses AAA batteries.
Not even sure where it is anymore, buried in the post flood mess in storage I guess.

Same one I had and I took advantage of the trade in deal as well. Really wish they would hurry and mail the 7 to me.

Still have yet to own a go pro or a selfie stick. I know, behind the times.

Yeah, same here. I got the Hero 7. Sent in my 2-year old Sena Prism.

Now I need to get a good flow to work with the GoPro videos... finding the software that works for me, incorporate the gauges and stuff, etc. One thing I already dislike about it is that it creates separate files. I understand the reason for that, but I wish they also offered software that made it easy to merge files together. They could at least name the separate files in a smarter way (such as recording1-01, recording 1-02, recording2-01, etc.).

It also sucks that I can't use my existent mounts with it; the mounts that came with my Prism are better quality and more options. But oh well, let me see if I can find smart ways to use this camera.

FYI I called Gopro and they will still give you $100 off the cost of the Hero 7 Black even though the promotion has ended. You also don't have to send in your old unit anymore but they will ask for its serial number over the phone.

I had one of the old ones that took batteries. I literally used it one time and then discovered how long it takes to edit video. After 5 minutes I was like all that. In order to make decent videos, I think you have to be one of those people who can play video games on the computer for hours on end.
