2002 Suzuki SV650S
well balanced lightweight bike, great for beginners while still loads of fun for advanced riders. unmolested and unmodified with the exception of flush turn signals in the front and a new softer seat. . runs like a clock, just had the carbs rebuilt, fuel lines and stopcock replaced. new seat, new front brake calipers and pads, new dunlop Q3 sportmax dual composite tires front and rear. this bike has never acted up or had any mechanical issues, aside from those caused by storing and not riding for too long which has recently been mitigated with the fuel system work. the ONLY thing this bike may need anytime soon is to tighten or replace the chain, that's all, aside from that, it's not going to need anything aside from fuel and a rider up until it's net oil change. never in an accident, but a little bit of road rash (with the exception of the can which is stock and usually the first thing to be cutt off and replaced eith aftermarket anyways, all are unnoticeable from 5ft away unless you're looking for it) from kickstand operator error from the previous owner (resulting in the flush mount turn signals) and a spill from me, involving a fresh back tire, cold weather, and pine needles (most embarrassing 20mph spill i've ever had, including my younger years trail riding dirtbikes).
only selling because another baby is on the way, only held onto it this long because im stubborn and didn't want to accept that i wouldn't have time to ride when we had our first kiddo. kbb has value as a dealership trade in set at 1800 and 2600 for avg listing, i figure 2200 is a fair price given it's low mileage and condition, no low ball offers but willing to consider accommodating for some wiggle room within reason, no joy rides (meaning proof of funds/cash in hand) you break it, you're buying it. this is not a post trying to pass off a polished as being a deal, this is a straight up post offering a solid bike with no hidden surprises for someone looking for a well cared for blank slate to make their own '02 Suzuki SV650S
