XR250L problem

I can start my bike easily without any problem. But things go weird when the engine dies after stay at a high RMP for a while when blipping the throttle. I didn't use the bike for a long time. What has happened to it?

Are you cranking the throttle all the way back and bouncing off the rev limiter, when it's not under load? Or does it die when you are riding it at wide open throttle?

Could be a partially plugged main jet or bad spark plug, if neither of those into the electrical system would be my bet.

Check for a clogged fuel cap vent.

It's likely the carb. When the bike sits without running for too long, the gas evaporates out of the carb and leaves a film. That's enough to partially or completely block the idle jet among others.
It's running really lean because it can't get gas.

Another possible issue is an air leak. While it's running, spray a small amount of carb cleaner on the intake between the carb and the cylinder head. If the rpm goes up, you have an air leak.
