He has adult sized feet. My daughter needs some riding boots. The 9.5 might fit her.

You can also ride on the beach on the Bolivar peninsula.

Used to ride out on Pelicn before it was closed and as long as you stayed off of the spoils area (large flat area where they pump dredge from the ship channel), it's a pretty cool place. Legally, your supposed to be street legal (plated) to ride the beach and there are TPW patrols on Boliver; especially from High Island east. It's a bit of a hike, I've heard down at Sargent you can ride without hassle, but needs to be dry.

Sargent is a little coastal community west of Surfside. The main road T's into the Gulf and if you go to the left, about a mile or 2 down is an area where a guy on another form posted video of riding out there on his YZF. He said several people go out there on the weekends and never get hassled by leo's. He did say to wait for a dry spell because water tends to pond after a rain. Looked like some decent beach riding; just a little flat with few obstacles. Seems like it might be a good place to learn your new-to-you bike before jumping off into some singletrack trails. If Pelican is open like said, it's a lot closer. Also, a lot of folks used to ride by Cedar Bayou off of spur 55 there in Baytown at the west side base of the bridge. I don't know if you can ride there now due to the bridge expansion going on for 99 coming through. Another place that would require drying out a bit if you could get to it now.
