How to watch the Rio Olympics action

Get ready to be glued to your TVs and phones, as thousands of athletes are about to compete on the greatest stage on the planet.

The Rio Olympics are almost here, and you don't have to miss any of the action.

With Simone Biles, Chris Brooks, Kassidy Cook, Simone Manuel and Stephen Lopez competing, Houston has so many reasons to cheer during the Summer Games.

From the opening ceremony to every stroke, dive and vault, every moment of the Olympics is at your fingertips.

KPRC 2, and the networks of NBCUniversal will have more than 350 hours of Olympic programming every single day. That adds up to nearly more than 6,700 hours over the course of the games.

So how do you find the sports and athletes you want to watch? Visit the Olympics section on You can search the events schedule by day, sport, or athlete.

The listings for all the big events airing daily and in prime time on KPRC 2 can easily be found on the lower right side of the page.

There's also a direct link to live stream the event on your mobile device, tablet or computer, so once you sign in using your cable account, you can view just about every sport on your device.

KPRC 2 will also be letting you know every day what big events are airing every night in prime time on our social media pages, so if you subscribe to the KPRC 2 Facebook page, the prime time lineup will be right there at the top of the page.
