Bear Creek Plantation in Katy near copperfield? Dirt bike trails?

Anyone have any input on this neighborhood? looks like a pretty good deal on a house there that we are interested in.

Its also next to a large forested area with trails leading to a huge reservoir with dunes for riding the dirtbikes.

we're over off of 529 and fry, we're trying to get out of here, the area has declined significantly. There's a lot of riff raff out here, every place has problems but this one seems to be quite a bit more.

thanks for the insight man. I actually lived near here back in 2006-2008 and i noticed it getting a little too culturally diverse for my liking but the price of the home is a of a deal... I guess this is why.

I also realize that the cultural mapping changes, Cypress may be white majority now but in 10 years it could be full of mexicans, graffiti and gangs too...

The neighborhood im in now is like 95% Mexicans and its not bad at all lol. Well, minus the Sunday night Tejano jams behind our house that keeps me up all night for work Monday morning.

I live right down the street from Bear Creek Plantation, the area used to be nice when I first moved out here 8ish yrs ago but Im looking to move to the other side of I-10 within the next few years due to said reasons. I used to ride out in the areas your talking about all the time, went out there a couple months ago and like the neighborhoods its not as nice as what it used to be, lol. I would ride all the way to hwy 6 via the bayou and different trails, be mindful of the sherriff's, they patrol it on 4 wheelers now more than they use to since some kids set a huge fire out there a couple yrs ago

Work your way a bit further north. Overall the entire area is not all bad but is has changed over the years. Back in HS that was a great area, not so much now. Stay away from the 529 area between green house and fry as well.

Have you looked at queenston area west to barker....

That house in canyon gate that you were looking at has endless trails in it. Like I said I live in that neighborhood and I was actually riding the trails last night with my buddy.

Oh ok. Well honestly, the trails don't matter. Just buy a house that you and your family is happy with.

Btw, was that you riding the black r6 in the rain that one day? Going into Canyon Gate.
