Yep, good looking rig for sure! I'm trying to find a way to convince myself that a certified pre owned 4x4 4runner is somehow justifiable when I can get a brand new 2014 F150 crew cab (STX) with a 5.0L V8 for at least $5000 less with a lower APR. I know the Toyota is the better rig, and I'll pay for it, but the F150 is hard to beat. Any Toyota or Ford sales people in here?

I have the exact tires with only 3,000 miles on them off a 14' rubicon if you're interested. I'd like to sell the rims with them though lol

I have a 97 4-cyl 4runner and it runs like a champ. That thing is a TANK! A newer 4runner completely side swiped me... i had some scratches... her door was completely dented in. Her tire marks were even above my fender (she was texting). My husband just changed out the fuel pump. $40 bucks and a few hours later.. good as new. 2 newer vehicles and we take the 4runner on road trips because of its dependability. People ask why I still have it... its the best! And its paid for! Lol

These are awesome.

I believe that's the satoshi grill. I don't have a 4 Runner but have the v6 Tacoma and you can't beat a Toyota 4x4. I've gone more places bone stock that my Chevy and Dodge couldn't ever make. Still had paper plates on the truck, with all stock equipment, measured the hole about 8 feet out and if I would have poked another foot would have found out it dropped to about 4 foot deep. Had water almost to the windows all the way around.

one of the principals at my company drives a silver mid 2000's 4runner....even has a motohouston sticker across the upper brake light. He's about 78 yrs old, so I know he didn't put the sticker on...said he bought it used from a Sterling McCall I think. anyone in here?

LOL so far Ive been very happy wheeling the Tacoma so ill keep it till the wheels fall off. I'm really impressed with the Toyota 4x4 system. I was out with a Chevy Colorado z71 with a lift that got stuck twice, I had it in 4wd low with the A-trac system on and the rear dif locked and managed to go through more without getting stuck.

No not mine. I helped him pit the lift on. But since I gotta buy the wife a new sub, I think I might get one too.

I put that sticker on, that was the wifes old 4runner, I'm surpised the dealer didn't remove it.

ha....small world. He digs it....this is his second one, the first one didn't hold up well when he put it on it's side after hitting a bollard or something. I'm not sure the guy even knew how to use the climate control settings up until a few weeks ago. Drove him to lunch a few weeks ago in it and he said, "just roll the windows down." Made me laugh...
