Although i doubt you will ever read this, there is a small chance you may, so here we go. This afternoon on the Pat Bay Highway, at about 2:30 pm, just south of the Swartz Bay Ferry terminal, and traveling southbound, there you both were on your motorcycles. You were riding in the slow lane, and i was behind you doing the posted speed of 80 km/h. As it became obviously apparent to me, i was gaining on you, and so i changed lanes to pass you. With little more than a couple car lengths between us, you both suddenly changed lanes right in front of me. Neither of you shoulder checked, neither of you signaled your lane change, so i was left with no safe alternative other than to apply the brakes to avoid mowing 1 or both of you down. Then i changed back into the slow lane, to attempt another pass. Upon coming up along side of you, i rolled down my window and politely and calmly suggested that you may want to be a little more aware of what you are doing, and what is going on around you. At this point, you gave me an attempt at a scary look, and yelled obscenities at me. You really had no place in doing so, as i had not acted in that fashion towards you. I rolled up my window and proceeded onwards. Then you gunned your accelerator and came up beside me, and gave me the middle finger. Well, okay, enough is enough. Down goes my window again, and i returned the gesture and told you to go **** yourself. You motioned to me to pull off the road and basically let's have it out. I obliged. You and your fellow rider, who was clearly female, were off the road and stopped before i was. You had your helmet off and your fists clenched and were about to go all tough guy on me. What happened next really made my day, i needed the laugh, so thank you. I estimated your height to be approximately 5' 6 ", and your weight to be about 150 pounds. When i got out of my car, and you realized that i stand about a foot taller than you, and probably outweigh you by 75 pounds, the look on your face was truly priceless. You were back on that motorcycle and out of there in less time than it took me to start laughing. Unfortunately for you, suddenly realizing you are not so tough, and probably scared of what was about to happen to you, you took off so fast, that you left your helmet on the ground. After i watched you both dissapear out of sight, and came to the conclusion that by now you had realized what you forgot, i picked up your helmet and got back in my car and went about my business. When i got home, i was checking out your helmet, and i cannot be sure, but it looks like it is a pretty expensive one. Oh, it gets better. You have your name and address written on the inside in a black jiffy marker, so i had another laugh. I would imagine you did not borrow this helmet from someone, and the name and address inside is you. So, i know who you are, and i know where you live. If you do by chance read this, and you want your helmet back, that is no problem. Just email me and we can meet again. I would imagine you won't ever see this, so i will wait about a week, and i will personally deliver your helmet to you, and give you the kicking you deserve for being such an arrogant, careless rider. Either way, we will meet again. Have a nice day.

That's great.

The silliness people put themselves into with their own egos is sad sometimes.
