MIA:Stop supporting Terrorism by buying her CD's

You know, I hear a lot of people discussing terrorism nowadays. Since September 11th, terrorism has become a huge priority for us here in the states. However, almost everyday I find people supporting terrorism. Just be cause it doesn't directly affect us on a day to day basis doesn't mean that it isn't affecting someone's life on the complete other side of the world. I know that I'm just rambling now, but the LTTE ( although now slowly dying) are a terrorist group and should be dealt with accordingly. Millions of people have died due to the acts of these inconsiderate, irrational, and soulless sons of .
I'd go on but most of what I need to say is expressed in this video by DeLon.

No Problem.

To post a YouTube vid, click on the youtube button, then insert only the digits/letters after the = sign.

In other words, only the stuff in red between the youtube brackets: http: //www. youtube .com/watch?v=CvVDnm-kDl8

I haven't gotten on a plane ever and I don't want to. Not because I'm scared of something going down but because I think it'll crash. In my opinion shes not a terrorist and by buying her music you're not supporting terrorist anymore so than when you buy anything. You can find a link to supporting terrorist when you go to the store and buy a box of captian crunch if you look hard enough. The world is fueled by the drama of others and it will always be this way. If she goes off and starts a war funded by the money of her CD's I feel sorry for her. She won't get very far with that loot and we've got a bigger army with better training and weapons.

Besides, I haven't spent a cent on her music. I steal it.

lol @ dy longs response.
I guess I figured that more people would be educated on her status. Her father is a lead figure in the LTTE, which is a terrorist group in a third would country. They have to be getting their money somehow...

What exactly is propaganda here? I've had three relatives die from suicide bombings by the LTTE. My cousin, who was 4 years old, was killed by the blast at the Children's run. This isn't just useless propaganda for me, it's entirely real.

So why blame M.I.A.?? did she kill your cousin. Just cause she might have family in some terrorist group doesn't really prove anything on her.

Sometimes ppl try to connect too many dots that don't even go together. It's like playing the six degrees of kevin bacon, but with ppl and related them to terrorist, lol.

Who is M.I.A. I'm over 30 so I guess I'm an old fogey. I'm sure her music sucks, so I guess I won't be supporting her or her terrorist family!

Liked the video though. Thanks for the heads up!

I can't imagine not flying. unless you just have NOWHERE to go. there's a lot of places you can't see riding the bus. I can't imagine not being able to go back to Ireland, or see the Tivoli gardens, Notre Dame, Tokyo, AMSTERDAM.

Never blamed her personally, but her a lot of her money has been known to go to the LTTE; which her father has an outstanding post in. The money for her career to blossom had to come from somewhere, where better than through a terrorist group? The video isn't propaganda, or at least in my eyes, because everything it's stating isn't based on assumptions but facts. By all means, go on supporting terrorism in the world, more power to you! I"m sure you'll be the first to throw down on Al Queda's Greatest Hits.
