Sunday ride will be a relaxed pace since we have 3 signed up so far. Sat. ride will be a moderately spirited pace.
We want to devote Sunday to helping the newer riders or ones looking for help to make them more comfortable on curvy roads.

A friendly reminder for the Sunday ride. This will be a slower paced ride. For those expecting our normal pace ride it wont be. Your still welcome to join but you will have to follow the ones who signed up for the relaxed pace. Your support for those would be appreciated.

Will be at MSRH this weekend, but I hope you guys have a great time/ride.

Just want to take a moment to shed some light and give thanks to Morgstang for these weekend rides he puts together for MotoHouston. I've been organizing and leading rides for quite some time myself and it's not an easy role to take on. There is a lot of responsibility involved in gathering new and/or seasoned riders together to cooperate in a fun, stress-free group ride without letting it become repetitive or boring.

I've seen all kinds of cool bikes show up, from 250cc - 1400cc, backyard garage special to fresh off the showroom floor. It is really a wonderful thing to see and meet people from different walks of life who all share this same hobby and enthusiasm to ride. I understand that it may be daunting, maybe even intimidating to some folks to join a group ride, but I've never felt that way with Keith's groups.

In my opinion, new riders are one of the most fun and special aspects of motorcycling. There is so much anticipation and a plethora of information that you are trying to make sense of. Once you're comfortable riding on your own, do yourself a favor and join one of these weekend rides.

This is a safe place where you can address many of your questions/concerns, while gaining insightful information without feeling like a "noob". You can learn the fundamentals and safely apply good motorcycling techniques that will help you on your normal riding routines. We all acknowledge that Houston isn't the safest/friendliest place to ride a motorcycle. Keith takes you on some of the best routes the area has to offer where you can focus on your riding and enjoy your acquisition of a motorcycle.

In a world full of keyboard ninjas, it's refreshing to surround yourself face to face with motorcyclists who advocate safe riding, and are willing to share their experiences to help you to become a better and safer rider.
