air-cooled honda info needed

for those who build their own motors and have experience with the old Honda CBX, CB-series, etc. I need your input

I am building a CB750 motor for one of my buddies and it's going to be a bit of a frankenstein. I've read some different forums online about people dropping CB900 pistons in a CB750, but the only ones I've come across are comparisons to a SOHC 750, not a DOHC like the one I'm building. Can anyone shed some light on piston dimensions between these two motors?

from what I've gathered, CB900 pistons have a taller deck height than the CBX 1000 ones, by about 0.080" but I don't know how they compare to the DOHC CB750. CBX pistons are also domed pretty good, but I don't know the dome volume. unless someone here has some OEM CB900 pistons and/or CBX pistons laying around that I could measure myself, that would be helpful enough
