Lol I wouldn't no. I have mentioned to Myla a few times that I would like a smart phone but her response is, "no you don't because once you have one you can't go back". I believe smart phones, the convenience of computers, Google, spell check and Wikipedia are making us less smart.

I kept the iphone because I like having the controls integrated with the radios in my vehicles but since they changed the plug and I need a new phone soon, I don't see the point of staying with an iphone anymore. I like the ability to use a microSD to transfer movies without having to re-encode them. So an S4 may be in my pocket very soon.

If his head unit is like mine..... Not really. They are designed to work with ipod. I've yet to find a head unit that's designed for Android.

Strange. I have the exact same control over my android device as I did with my iphone in my factory-nav/MS sync F250.

Mine is a JVC AVX640
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-KjFNYEt...KW-AVX640.html

Say for instance with Pandora...

With iphone, from the head unit, you can see album art, like or dislike tracks ETC.

You cant do that with android.

I hear the newest gen jvc's have better android functionality, I might change head units. Not changing phones...for now lol

I was an avid iphone fan boy for years (since they were first released) and bought my head unit because of the stuff it can do with iphone (gps nav and other apps) They work right on screen. But android doesn't.)

Interdasting. I haven't had an aftermarket deck for years. Guess I'm missing out.

Or not because I don't have unlimited data and wouldn't stream pandora in the car anyway.

Just recently married and we tried to merge anything with a bill together. She's a big iPhone fan (for who knows what reason) and I've always been an Android fan. She's on AT&T and I was on Tmobile. We checked prices and it was by far cheaper to get a plan with AT&T, I needed a new phone and it was free if we went with them.

I don't know why I kept associating AT&T with iPhone and when we went in, I liked the white one better than a black one so that's what I got. When I got home, I thought about it and said, "Wait a minute, I coulda got ANY of AT&T's Android phones too!" I called back and the guy said it was a $35 restocking fee to return the iPhone. Sigh... I just kept it and have been fighting with the iTunes software since then. It's workable but frustrating.

I don't hate it, but I sure would love to go back to Android. I'm waiting to see what the new Apple IOS looks and feels like.

Yeah I knew that but the stupid thing is that while my wife was handling all the plan changes with the associate, I was mindlessly looking through all the phones, including the Android phones. Just a brain fart I guess.
