blasted tires

well, i was out riding today clear down halfway along cow creek road, and the bike started acting funny...very wobbly over any bumps. pulled over at some country road and the back tire is FLAT. looked at it for a few and didn't see anything sticking out of it, then noticed about a 3/8" long slice on the side of the tread. I managed to get a plug to stick in it and what looked to be filling most of the hole. Then proceded to try to fill the tire with the co2 filler i had. however, i guess my filling head was bad, and it wouldn't do a thing. Luckily there was a seismic crew out working about 3/8th's of a mile down the road. I got their maintenance guy to take me back to the bike and fill up the tire. Luckily the plug held till i got home...50+ miles later. Worst part is the tire only has maybe 300-350 miles on it. :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: so ...it wasn't even flatspotted. :angry1: :angry1::angry1:

So, i guess time for ANOTHER new tire.
