Road Trip...

Ok people I am thinking about going to my brothers house in new mexico.... ON MY BIKE.... it is about 800 miles= 12 hours!!! what do you think? can it be done? in one day....

ya youll be fine.............i just went to dallas and back on my 14 which is about 12 hours as well. Granted my went from sore to numb but i was fine. Really the only thing that got to me was the heat.

i have done it twice just stopping to get gas and smoke...........wasnt that bad but after i rode for a week around ruidoso had to get a new tire in roswell the ride home was what sucked and seemed to take forever

ive been to dallas and back, uvalde and back, austin and back, corpus and back with no probs on my 650 thats nothing compared to new mexico but i would do it if i had family there

try doing that on an underpowerd SUCKA II, going from here to cali....then you can complain! :P

i used to do 7 hour trips to duncan OK, quite often...not too bad.

You got some fuzzy math going on there......800 miles....150mph.....you should be there in 5 1/2 hours. j/k .... There is no way in I would take a long trip like that on any sport bike. That's why made cruisers.

See that's what I was thinking get on them long nothing on them but farm road and open it up shouldn't take long to jump from town to town but ya have to watch out for the state boys they good behind all them corn crops...
