Is that pic the actual bike? Whether it is or is not, you can't go wrong for $200.

This is what it would look like. cb450tam
dude the thing is a collectors item ..... yeah restore it .... its a antique... trust me every year the price value increases on the bike
and if the drum brakes really bother you just convert them to disc

I'm broke right now and I'd still buy that. Even if it meant it was gonna sit for another 2 years before I could get to it.

really cant put anything water cooled in there. It's crammed as it is. Going to start taking it apart tomorrow see what the deal is. The original engines sound very nice.

I also know for a fact that this bike ran in 1998, after which it was parked.

Oh I have some plans for it. Not exactly conventional, but not cafe racer either. I'll have to photoshop them up one day soon.

I am pretty dismayed. The engine will not even turn over with the kick start and the carbs are rusted shut.

i've heard that if you put marvel mystery oil or ATF in the cylinders and let it sit for a couple of days it can help to free up the pistons. haven't tried it myself though. good luck

Got the engine to turn about 10 degrees. Now does anyone have any idea what the black circular valve is for?
