Rode 362 and 3090 solo today. Noticed some new road oil too. Glad your OK. Take it easy. I have a little boy and a girl on the way this summer. I know how you feel about returning safe to your family. It's a shame about the bike. A Ducati is my dream bike.

sorry to hear, its not a road to be played around on unless you know it really well. Even then its always better to do a scout run of it to make sure things are okay. Hope you heal up and get back on the bike soon man!

I was on a group ride and saw a guy break his bike in half on 3090. He came out ok, but that was one of my last "street" rides. Of course glad you are ok but consider coming back on the track. Ridesmart and other trackdays are the only way to ride. I strongly recommend it when you are ready.

Glad you are ok.

Can I ask a question?

Did the other 200 motorcycles that ran 3090 the same day as you NOT hit the oil and gravel?

Maybe it was more about your corner entry speed and less about oil and gravel. I'll bet that some other could have made that corner at twice the speed you were at.

Just a hunch. Not preaching and someone always has something negative to say when I say it...but...if you are going to ride twisties might i suggest a few track days?

looking for a trackbike!!

I third cdills comment. I think I remember a bunch of the turns having a decreasing radius out there so knowing the road is a must if its a spirited ride. The gravel on that road is not only on the side of the road but in the middle of sections. Super sketchy and unstable when i was out there.

Also, a real important question i think alot of people are wondering is what boots did you have on and maybe a little more detail of the get off.

Hope you heal up fast man. Dont let the getoff keep you from riding. Get out to a ridesmart td when you get a chance, its soooo worth it.
