They all have stock motors. The real AMA bikes have built to the moon motors. I went side by side down the banking with DiSalvo at Daytona and he pulled me like I was on a stock 600 and seemed like he was on a built 750. Id rather build my own bike then pay for this bike. Im guessing the 600cc AMA bikes are making 125hp since they can afford to rebuild the engine every weekend.

these aren't AMA bikes?

what do you think it cost to go thru a motor? balance&blue print? + the little trickery that builders know.

If the motors are indeed stock, then they are overpriced.

M4 sells their race bikes with all the goodies at the end of the year. I thought Attack did the same. Shame if not...

GUYS, PAY ATTENTION. the bike in the ad is a 600CC SUPERSPORT race bike. supersport rules dictate that engines must be stock, forks must be stock (internals can be changed). the supersport series last year was a stock class. however, i can assure you, attack pushes the rules to the absolute limit. each engine is balanced, blueprinted, and spec'd to the very very edge of legality. each engine has well over 50 man hours into building it.

the formula extreme bikes are the ones with modded motors, frames, swingarms, ohlins superbike forks, brembos etc.

Kawi offers KIT cams that are supersport legal. Longer duration but the stock lift. Also KIT head gaskets that raise compression but is the alternative to "removing metal" and going outside the rules.
Since they dont say they are in there I assume they arent.
