I would be game for next weekend, or even next week, after tuesday.

Unfortunatly I am still at work now. At least it isn't as hot up in Colorado as it is back home.

anyone? Getting ready to head to the Tavern and then the Stros game. If there is no interest in a trail ride, I got a group of guys hitting the MX track instead. I'd rather trails, where there is shade.

Working a 24 today, and don't get off until 7am... I haven't had a chance to stop by the ranger's office yet to pickup a annual pass. Maybe next Sunday? I could pack my bike & things the night before work, and head up straight from the station.

I got the SHNF chicks number. she makes special visits to the office if you're super nice to her. Her name is shelly (936-537-8898). I'd call before 7 am on a sunday to make arrangements. Leaving for the forest now. probably making a west loop run.

it was hot out there today. Dusty conditions as well. Still had fun though, rode semi-aggressive for about a 10 minute stint. I was spent...I can't wait for November. lol

Yep, it was HOT today. We went to the Bastrop area for a family fun day put on by AMSA( Austin area club) on private property. Big fun and everyone came home in one piece!

A little shower sure wouldn't hurt my feelings!

You can get the one day pass at Cycle Shack North, I guess it was like 5 bucks, you might be able to get the year pass as well.
Then when you arrive at the forest you will need to sign up and pay another 5 buck for the day.
Just make sure you have a SA, to keep things legal.
