MSR - - - supermotard racing??

I looked on their website and couldn't find anything about super motards. Does anybody know if they have racing out there? I didn't know if there was a big enough demand for it, but I would like to know. Thanks in advance.

nevermind, just called them. They said no.
I'm guessing Dallas might have some of that.

If you are talking about true supermoto - with a partial dirt section and a jump, I am not aware of any tracks in Texas that are doing it yet. :BangHead: If you want to roadrace a motard, you can do it with CMRA (it has a Super Motard class up to 450cc and Unlimited Class up to I think 650cc, including the new Aprilia twins); or you can always bring it out for a track day at MRS or any other track - come look me up, #54/254 on a black CRF450.

thanks for the info. I was told similar stuff when I called the Texas World Speedway. They said Dallas might have one, but wasn't totally positive. You're right, I wanted the real track (dirt jumps & road racing).
I think I will try it out in the CMRA to get used to the road racing part of it for now.

Do you have any pics of your 450?

Sure! Of all the bikes, this one is my all-time favorite!

DSCF0196

Wide-ratio gearbox
17" wheel & disk brake conversion
Draco custom-wound springs
RaceTech suspension
Custom Metric lower (gotta love plasma cutters! )
Stock displacement, ported head, etc. etc.

Are you coming to Cresson this weekend?

LMAO I need to remember this one..

Chasee, thanks, you won't believe what a total blast it is to ride, it corners so well the pegs drag and I've managed to put the knee down at MSR-Houston (never thought it possible on a 'tard).

Henry - oops.. I SO totally forgot :( my bad.. pics will be on their way!

I was just seeing the popularity of them in Houston. If there are plenty of people that race, then I will get one real soon.

Does the CMRA race motards at MSR, or just TWS (Texas World Speedway)?
