question about intelligence

would you purchase a vehicle (or anything for that matter) from someone who was unable to write a complete sentence with proper spelling/grammar? In my oppinion, I wouldn't think this person would be capable of 'appraising' an appropriate value if they aren't capable of looking at the tires and copying the spelling of the manufacturer...

it is extremely annoying to me...

Kinda depends. If HE did the mods/oil changes, I'd walk away. If he let the dealer do them, then I wouldn't see a problem.

Welcome to the dumbing down of America.

I was always taught (way back when email was a "new" thing ) that what you put on the screen is someone else's first impression. Spelling and punctuation and not YELLING in "all caps" was just expected.

Now we are stuck with chat and text "speak" and are expected to just deal with it and try to gleem some sort of meaning from the gibberish...

I'll bet 9 out of 10 youngsters don't even know that they used to pay "proof readers" at the papers to go over every article.. oh, wait.. most don't even realize what a newspaper is! LOL!

But I would buy that bike... it's a great deal!!!!!!!!!

I'm more concerned that this person may be attempting to raise a child.
