Even though these people are sitting in little air-conditioned cocoons of happiness they seemed somehow angered by the heat just outside their windows. Drivers were more prone to swerve suddenly into my lane or pull out in front of me in that effort to get where they were going and out of the heat as soon as possible. Maybe I just had a bad couple of weeks, but the normal levels of vehicular insanity during the evening commute appear to have risen a few notches into " puckering" territory.
City riding with all the cagers is just dangerous; no two ways about it

Never been to hot to ride for me yet. It sucks when you start sweating getting yoru gear on and you havent started moving yet though. Once your moving its not bad but when i stop and take the gear off my back is covered in sweat. Better start taking an extra shirt in my bag lol.

If you think it is too hot to ride, then you are not a true rider.

I agree. If I can get on and go somewhere during the day with minimal stopping, I'm OK. Of course, I teach, so I don't work in the summer. Ain't no where I ever gotz to be.

Sadly, my favorite kind of riding--motosplorin'--must grind to a halt (at least in daylight hours) during the summer. I've tried it; it's , starting and stopping to gear up and down--can't explore with gear on since it's too hot. It's killing me. Naturally, all I ever seem to hear about now are curious places that I'd love to check out...sigh; alas, these are the archiving months.

It's way too hot fellas. Sometimes I'm forced to go squid mode!
I wear mesh in this heat and when I get to where Im going, the gear are soaking wet along with my helmet. I get tired of washing helmet paddings everyday!

Doesn't matter if your moving or not either, but if your not moving fast enough... The breeze is hot as !!!

I usually commute to work about 2-3 times a week.
Got three other vehicles to drive & keep up.
Working in an office downtown, I hate to come to work sweat soaked in the morning.
Rode twice this week thus far.

too hot for me...90 degrees is the deal breaker for me.
Don't get me wrong, I really wanna ride, but if I'm spending my hard earned money on my hobby, I wanna be able to enjoy it 100%.
