He's been there before so should be a better weekend for Ben if the Yami can stand up to his flogging. Someone needs to put the mechanical hex on Haga. Is there a voodoo priest in the house??

Mechanic Greg Wood will once again work with racer Ben Spies, this time in Europe. Wood is currently flying to Donington to join up with Spies and his Yamaha World Superbike squad for this weekend's races and continue on through the season. Spies will now have the services of two of his former AMA team as he races in World Superbike and attempts to capture the series crown in his first season in Europe...It's been noted by the media that during Ben's AMA Superbike career, he never suffered a mechanical DNF.

I've got a chicken Buck.....

Now all we need is a Ducati gear box and a virgin.......it would probably be easier to find the former, rather than the latter, especially around here.

Fan frickin'tastic news that Woody is joining the team!!!!! I think we'll see an end to the mechanicals in pretty short order.
Looks like the chicken is working by itself with Haga in 11th. We find that virgin and the championship is won...........
What makes it even better is that Spies is truly a class act and a great ambasador for Texas. Love to see the Lonestar at the head of the pack. Go BEN!!!!!

Ben and Collin are so different in personality ... love'm both though ... one is just pure class, the other is just out gonna tell you like it is.

I still say Spies pulls out a pole, with Fabby behind him.

That didn't sound right.

I think a couple of the Brits have come out swinging just a bit too hard
Johnny had an off first session this morning early on and wasted valuable set-up (with the new Ohlins) time compounded by the rain/damp track in the afternoon.
Don't write him off just yet (you know I haven't ) but he has alot to do for sure.

Cal Crutchlow (WSS leader) crashed on his outlap () breaking a bone in his ankle so really had it all to do but still managed to stick it on pole in the afternoon
However you know that's going to be very very sore tomorrow and Sunday

1) Smrz putting the hammer down
2) & 3) Eugene Laverty on the Portimao CBR600
4) the usual suspects, Crutchlow has a beani on and Spies has shorts
