My wreck last night

Many of you saw me highside coming out of Outback. A big thanks goes out to all the guys who helped me out. I went out there only knowing Mike (aka 99blackr1, spaz and curbcheck) but I had a lot of help. So thanks to everyone who helped me out of the street, got my back working again, gave me pieces of the bike and advice on how to fix it.

So here's my story from the ride home. I rode home with Mike after getting everything put back together and I had another incident just before we merged on to 45 North. Some Impala with tinted windows, huge rims and harard lights on totally cut me off and actually ran into me at 70 mph. His back right bumper hit my left handlebar and my wrist. I got some headshake but was able to correct it and not go down. Mike didn't see it and didn't even know it happened. The guy then sped away without stopping or anything. So I think my first wreck prevented me from going down a second time. If my bike was normal, the car would have hit my handlebar and my wheel would have turned and I would have gone down for sure. But the car hitting it just knocked it loose, about to the way it was before we fixed it.

So that's my story from last night. I got xrayed today and nothing it broken but that car sprained my left wrist really badly. Be careful out there.

don't even get me started on the type of individual who is enough to hit a biker and not offer assistance. :BangHead: :BangHead: Once I pushed the doo-doo aside in my britches so I could settle in the seat again, I would have hauled his down and got a plate number.
prolly pimpin his car w/ no ins. typical around here.:BangHead:

glad your ok, I've had numerous close calls, never any contact.
I have kicked out tailights and bent down their antennas before. grabbed one and aimed it right at the ground once.

i don't understand how you can grab someone's antenna or kick out a tail light though. if someone just hit me or nearly ran me off the road i'd try to stay far away from them, but would Definitely get a plate # If i was an uneducated cager riding in a car and saw you with my stuff i'd be tempted to give you a little nudge to encourage you to stop and we all know that can be deadly on a bike

that is too bad y'all didn't get his plates. You might have been able to get his insurance to pay for it all.

Because my first wreck left my left grip dangling by the cables. We tighened the little clamp thing to make the bike rideable and when the car hit the grip, instead of pushing my wheel to the right, it just rebroke the part we had fixed.

one was a lady in a dodge ramcharge that looked over to her left, saw me, and then continued on her way into my lane knowing I would yeild the spot, I yeilded then throttled on down and zoomed up and kicked in her left taillight with my right boot and then zipped right on by flying the duece.
the other was a chevy s-10 that merged on top of me, I quickly hit the shoulder of the road, hauled up to her fender and grabbed and bent that antenna so she could get some signals from .

and believe me, I didnt stay and party beside them, I hit them as fast as a blur.

pulling out fast with a bunch of people and then having to slam your brakes too hard because the person in front of you did the same? result highside because you lack finesse on the controll?

Not proud of it but I've done some serious edification in my younger days, oh maybe it was last week. People are just getting too stupid these days. Hit and runs and so on..:BangHead:
