Please help all mechanicly inclined!!!!!

K, my issue, on a 2007 gsxr 750, ridding and headligh cuts out and back on a few times a few min apart, get abt 20 min down road almost home to a gas station to get gas, and fill up n then pull to other side of gas station to go in and get a drink,come out and go to start it and completly lifeless, no power on, check fuses there all good, my friend comes n we load it up and just got home, has 12.5v at battery, I haven't checked anything else yet, anyone have similer situation? If anyone can help please call 281 736 5664 I will be up tryin to figure this out

voltage regulator or new batteries, make sure the cable arent loose, and no sulfuric acid on the terminal, i got shut off on 610 at 120 mph one night on my r6 , needed a new battery i let that one die to many time and recharged to many times

dont recharge the battery , check terminals and put a new battery, if that dont work try the regulator

You said the voltage is 12.5. Your batt sounds fine. I would find the loose connection.

First time it has died, had a short in turn sig, fixed it, a month ago.

check voltage at different places...i had a loose battery connection and mine did that...

Problem found. Will upload pics at work, I pray its salvigable, when I repaired short previous, I didn't see abt 6 other wires affected as well... Doesn't look good

I agree, loose connection somewhere. You can also take the battery to the auto parts store or a sears and have them test it.

pinched turn sig wire , i had fixed it and i guess it had already traveled up in the harness...

pics dont show it too good but theres abt 2 foot of wireing that is all melted and separated, im going to try and run new wire and solder it in and see what happens, looking for new harness also....

Cut the whole section out, get different color wiring, wind them together with a drill and slide a protector over them or rubber hose if its prone to being dropped, damaged or stunted etc.

I was gonna say the main harness connector is loose. Loose connection causes the wire to heat up. Make sure all the wires are connected tight.
