Question GSXR Exhaust switch- removing HELP

Trying to remove the exhaust switch (in undertail) on an 06 gsxr6 but can't figure out which wire to jump out so I stop getting an "FI" light. I know for a fact it's that switch becuase when I plug everything back up I get no FI light.

Does anyone have any idea which wire?

Thanks

No idea what wire...Patrick did mine. But yes, unless you disconnect/jump it you will get that FI.

find installation instructions for a full exhaust kit for your bike from yoshimura. It'll have that info.

Adam,

Just unhook the flux capacitor and it will work fine. Of course you will no longer be able to time travel, but the good news is you'll now be able to go 88 mph without jumping back to the 12th Century

Be careful on this mod. Some require jumping out, some require pulling the pin, and some require shorting all depending on the year. So verify the info before jumping the gun. I remember this on my 01 and then I got a 02 motor and I had to change things up.

Question

well my k6 600 has reached track status.. while pulling parts off/replacing parts, my oil light is on. i assumed there was some air in the lines b/c the bike was on its side after my lowside. i loosened the oil filter and bumped the starter a few times to fix the problem. well the light is still on and flashing FI

i put it in dealer mode and got -C00 which from what ive read is nothing.. but the light and FI wont go away. i picked up a used M4 slip on (thanks GRIFF) so my optimal plastics would fit. im wondering if the FI light is due to removing the stock exhaust??

which brings me to my question: are all of the steps in this link necessary?

I removed my SET valve recently. Took about an hour and NO MORE FI LIGHT!
