How many strangers that are stunters or folks at pp1 are going to offer to let you ride/ stunt their bike after you crashed yours? After ~25 years of doing this, I can tell you from personal experience it ain't any of those places, but it happens at the track all the time; I've seen it!

If you want to do a track day, pick one and go. Yeah, some of us have our loyalties; I also prefer a nice on a woman sooner than her It is what it is.

Yep. If you get 3 stock stunt tards - enter in the "Other" and "Scooter" class, you'll get to see how you do against the racers with stockers...

Check out the track @ racekarts.com

And that same folks that get opinionated on here are for the most part friends off here. These thread are nothing more than a contest. We all ride track because we love it not so we can fit in to one org or the other. I have in the past ridden with all 4 orgs and been treated like family at all 4 reguardless if I had a specific loyalty to one. This is the Internet where typed words are easily taken wrong because you can't portray emotions.

As far as this thread I saw it as friendly banter between two guys and other people jumped on the bashing org bandwagon.

ok. I have to disagree with part of this... I ride with some ppl here, I watch others stunt, and I work/track with others and I would help out any one of them plus any other person on MH if needed. I have called a complete stranger in the middle of the night because his bike was broken down and I was willing to drive 40+ miles to go pick him and his bike up and take him to his home. There are many of us like that here and its not because we belong to a certain clique.

I have only ridden with two of the orgs and I work for one of them, but I have been a spectator to all of the orgs events because I have friends who ride/work with the other orgs. I may sport my LSTD gear when I show up at another orgs event but it is because I am proud of my LSTD mafia, after all... I am the LSTD Mafia Princess and my friends know it. I don't go there and try to bash them over the head with LSTD, I go there and support them as friends who are out riding the track and doing what they love.
I dont see a reason to bash or hate on anyone. can't we all just get along? awww now I need a big ol group hug

just go down to the track and watch one, do a parade lap (Ride Smart or TTD do these during lunch break), ask one of the tech guys to look over you bike make sure your good to go if you want to make sure no suprises to fix at the track. (The rules are pretty much the same but check the website for the one you pick). I have them all on my calander, and as with most who have familiy or work to afford this kind of hobby, it comes down to schedule more than anything else. I did like my first 2 track days with Bucks group the best, since they ran 30 min sessions and the first was a noob only day we got tons of seat time. My only other has been Ride Smart/TTD which have both been great as well and are cheaper.

Track people and club level racing comunities are freindy off the track willing to help each other. I'm new to the moto thing but I grew up at the drags and my dad would loan parts to others all the time. I remember him lossing to someone he helped and was bragin about how he helped the guy that beat him as if he was happy about it, I could;nt undersatnd it then as a kid, but now it makes sense... everyone is out there to have fun. The few bike track days I've riden and the CMRA/CCS races I gone to to watch, remind me of that kind of atmosphere. I'm amazed at how many people here help each other out, at the track or even getting to the track, by trailier pooling, etx. This fourm is better at getting people out there rather than giving opionions. So you just need to go and see for yourself.

it shouldnt be wrong.. if you're running a remote ISP through your company it may have a false reading based on the isp rather than you're machine... mine for instance says i'm in Redwood City, Ca.. lol
