joy & joe,
go with whatever track day org is more convenient for you. tried all of them, and don't have anything bad to say about any of them. i wanted to do TWS (Texas World Speedway) for my first track day, but i ended up doing MSRH since it was closer (both closer to town, and time wise). MSRH is more technical and narrrow, while TWS (Texas World Speedway) is a bit wider and faster.the classroom instruction with both Ride Smart and TTD is great (haven't tried LSTD classroom) i assume you'll both be running in novice group. once you've tried all the orgs, just pick the one you like best, ooooor stick with all them and ride whatever happens to be on that weekend with whatever org is hosting

TTD dropped their price I talked to Merril (sp?) the other day and he said that each group would remain limited in size and would not be crowded.

Develop your skills by darting in and out of traffic about 50 mph faster than the avg cars speed Then take on some twisties and remember that when your bike leans one way you need to lean to the other to keep it from falling over.
After you get these skills down you no longer need to wear a helmet or any other gear.
Ok, itís all a lie. Except that Iíve ridden with them all. Theyíre all great!
I remember following you in Bandera on your Vmax with your super dooper doo rag type thing. I was so happy when I first seen you with a real helmet...and even happier when I seen you on a track

TWS (Texas World Speedway) is a great track for beginners, MY favorite track of all.
