Arai helmet broke

My 9 month old Arai Quantum-II broke! The plastic part that covers the edge of the face shield broke. It hasn't come completely off but the top part is no longer held down. I can see a tiny plastic snap that has broke. All I was doing was changing the faceshield with their approved method. I was placing the new one in when it happened.

Anybody know how to get Arai to replace the part-who I have to call etc?

I doubt the place I bought it at (Garret Honda) can help.

Any thoughts?

Cyclegear can order the parts for you...the parts are listed in the catalogs up there. I have ordered side sheilds in the past. They run about 35-45 bucks

BTW, it takes skill and practice to master the Arai shield system....I happen to be a pro...lol

heh, for the price of that clip you can buy a whole KBC helmet, but hey, I have extra arai helmet parts incuding the ones your needing, I'll dig them out of my closet and let you have both sides, brand new never used and black in color, (wrecked before I could use them) for free if I can test ride your rc51 once on my street (1/2 mile) =)

I remember it was around 60 dollars for the left/right sides and the little plasting things that go on top when I bought mine.
