Although the atmosphere is top notch, I think we all agreed that it is WAY too crowded to have any fun there. Several kids knocked into the back of me. And per Prothos' kids Humble is even worse for Friday nights.

Even though it sounds like it wasn't as fun, I'm still sorry we missed out. Maybe a different night? A bit worried about that whole "Humble/Friday" night gig you guys are planning if the crowds are supposed to be that large~

Guess we will have to do some recon work before then to check it out. I'm going by the information provided by my kids who skate there.

Good point^^^

Sk8te town isn't bad considering what we experienced this go around.

I just feel bad we cant go to other sides of the North to relieve some of the stress from travel time, especially for those w kiddos.

Champions is a great place and has been around for 30 plus years, I use to skate there in the late 70,s, and for those who dont know the owners son Chad was prolly 2 when we skated there, he was badazz back then, go back and look at the last Olimpics and see who the skating gold medalist was, one and only Chad, In the Skating world he would be equal to our own Colin Edwards a few years ago, Local boy done good, for those who dont know Lisa and I met skating and have been married for 29 years, these kids these days are to busy playing online to get out and have some good old fashioned fun

This friday is the Disctrict 9 movie,

Next Friday is the car sells movie

So maybe the following Friday. It would be back off of Sawdust. Of all the skate rinks, that is the only one that is tolerable.

My ankle isnt well enought to skate so I've been avoiding it.
