Safety Gear For ALL vehicles! Do it or Pay!

Look ladies and gents you have really only 1 choice wear your helmet/jacket/gloves/pants/boots when ridin a bike and dont use mind altering substances such as alchohol/drugs and when driving a car/truck wear you dang seatbelts getting ejected from a wrecking vehicle is the last thing you need. I am sick of people gettin hurt when it could be prevented. My uncle calls me today and tells me how a freind and his wife were on there goldwing and hit a deer they would have suffered no injuries cause the big bike absorbed the deer impact but they did fall off and got SEVERE road rash cause they werent wearing ANY safety gear!

Sheeitt....im all about being safe.....its my idiot friends that dont want to wear their jackets when its hot and humid out.....I tell em ALL the time, would you rather sweat a little or have the nurses in the hospital scrubbing off your skin with alcohol and nothing for pain. You wont catch me with out a jacket or helmet at the least!!! Im about to get me some riding boots too....

If the deer was wearing proper road gear, it'd still be alive too... such a shame, RIP deer.

I am one of those who need to practice ATGATT, but I dont. One day I will get this in my thick head. I just cant see dying of asthma attack and heat stroke to enjoy a ride.

All you can do is make suggestions. My neighbor who I get along with very well and drink beer in his garage or him in mine won't wear gear. He may wear a open face helmet on his Hardly or his Wing every once in a while but that is it.

I agree with the poster though, you only get one chance to wear ATGATT.
It only takes once...

As much as I try to convince people of ATGATT (I wear a perf leather jacket and gauntlets even in the heat), its every persons choice. If people wish to have their skin forcibly removed thats their choice. Everyone has a right to suffer the consequences of their own stupidity. Personally, I just shake my head and hope the best for them.
