learn on a bicycle, then 50cc, then when you have enough gear...and have enought money to replace your screwed up and bike...

why try to learn on other stuff. if youre comfortable with youre bike learn on that but like everyone says start out small as possible and only push it a little at a time, im learning on my r6 and watched a couple of vids. all i do is 1st gear power wheelies and 1st gear clutch ups at around 6000rpms and im fine and in pretty good controll most the time. i have the same problem of finding the balance point but im almost there. once you get past the weird feeling of the front getting pretty light you can just keep doing it until you get it.

i learned freeway on my r6 then hopped on a fiddy learned back brake and now i can wheelie as fast as i want or as slow as i want

the best way to learn to wheelie is to do first gear roll ons until you get the strength built up in your arms. after that you can upgrade to balance point wheelies while just using throttle control. once you have mastered that. then your ready for the 12 o clock wheelie. but you need to mount your oops bar first. preferably upside down.
