Dents / Dings on Gas Tank... can it be PDR?

I'm thinking about buying this bike, but it has one ding the size of a dime and a dent that is a size of a quarter on the gas tank... can it be repaired/removed?

does anyone know where or whom should i go to?

My tank had scrapes, rash, and dents all over it. I had the body work done and had my bike painted, frame included, for what you're tank would cost.

Carbs or FI

I have repaired a few damaged tanks before and its like 10x easier if its FI with the pump in the tank. Either way fixing a few small dents should be no prob but if its carbed your gonna have to paint it.

Tony - Houseofpain on MH. He did all the work. He works at Tom's Auto Body in Spring.

Paintless dent repair will sometimes work with those, check 'em out on the web, there's some local companies that do this. Often, they don't like to mess with fuel tanks because of the fuel... but all they can say is "no".

If you get a body shop to do the repair most of 'em will just Bond-O them anyway and repaint. If it's a stock color that = $$.

Check with PDR first, if they won't do it, to me, it's not enough to worry about IMHO.
