LoJack Field Research Results

I thought I would share some recent moto-events.

Yesterday (Thurs) my RR was stolen @3:30 am. I worked late and did not notice the alert until 8:30 am Thurs.

Called HPD @ 8:35 am.

HPD called back with bike at 12:30 pm.

This was the second theft in three months.

The first time I was lucky enough to get it back 5 weeks later, relatively unscathed.

I installed lojack and got it back in 4 hours! Pretty responsive.

I think I will upgrade to the unit that tazers the theives (joke)

Nice. From what I have seen LoJack is always worth the $$$.

RIght here. Just because you all have good experiences with getting your bike stolen, doesn't mean everyone else does

lol never said 100% of bikes come back in good shape, but you were trying to make it out to be that 100% come back all jacked up and lo jack was a waste of money.

It is....

Naw. It has it's moments. I think HPD has good coverage for it. It seems if it gets stolen in not a major metro area you might be screwed.
