how long will they last if they are used for street and track? i plan 5 track days with about 1.5k miles street wear.

will having tire warmers help them last longer for both street and track?
do you think someone like me who can run in the low 2:00's at TWS (Texas World Speedway) can be alright with some take offs?
\

I don't recommend them for street use. (neither the BT002's or the Pilot Race, or any "race" tire for that matter.)
Stephen porter was getting 4-5 trackdays out of his BT002's, and that's being an instructor and riding in more than one group.
If your primary tracks are TWS (Texas World Speedway) and MSR Houston you should easily get 3-4 track days.
Warmers will keep the tires grip more consistent throughout it's life by limiting heat cycling.

Shorty,
Your best bet at your level is going to race tires and investing in some warmers. Both will pay for themselves in a short time. Regardless which tire you go with I can supply you with either the Bridgestones or the Michelins, street or race compound.

cool thanks pat. I have been looking into the warmers and have actually found some really good cheap deals on some of the other boards such as CMRA and WERA. I'll be looking into it a little further.
